The Association becomes the principal investigator

of a grant via the Culture Program from EEA Funds

Grant project „Establishing the currentstructure of the Association of Professional

Theatres in the Czech Republic in the context of the transformation of performance

arts sector caused by the COVID pandemic” has been approved and is underway.

The Associations long term goal has been to provide counselling for its members, prepare methodologies and common positions, and to improve the overall conditions in the cultural sector. Following an initial mapping out of the associated members, personal capacities will be optimized, and current services will be improved.

As part of the project, we will continue to improve our members’ competency via workshops, seminars, and internships. Great sources of inspiration and experience during the project have been our partners at the Association of Norwegian Theatres and Orchestras.
